Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently with German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian and Indian. A choreographed performance at age 11 that aired on German television, transformed her into the Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She graduated from high school and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English in New York. While in New York, she studied acting in the HB studio. Then she moved to Groundlings School and took up numerous tasks. The actress was born by her parents in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). Her parents separated at the age of 13 old and she relocated to East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable TV performance. She has had a recurring appearance on The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
